Jeremy Forrest
Attorney Jeremy Forrest started Forrest Law Center to help people make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Whether we are talking about your estate or your business, Jeremy is committed to developing comprehensive solutions that work for his clients.
A native of Newport News, Virginia, Jeremy moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to attend William & Mary Law School. Prior to attending law school, Jeremy earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and History from Hampden-Sydney College and he worked for several years at a local law firm.

Outside of the office, Jeremy enjoys cooking, “roughing it” in a tent, and spending time at the beach and on the water.
Erin Smith
Client Services Coordinator
Every day in her role as Client Services Coordinator for Forrest Law Center, Erin Smith gets to do what she enjoys most — helping people.
Growing up in Hamlet, Indiana, a speck of a town in the rural part of the state, Erin found herself immersed in the legal system as a foster child. She grew up telling herself that the only way to change the system is to be part of it. Working individually with clients to address their needs speaks to her aspiration to improve life for others.
Erin is humble about her role as a trailblazer in the Navy. In 1994, she became the first female intelligence specialist to receive orders to serve aboard a ship. She spent three years on the USS Eisenhower, and two subsequent ships deploying multiple other times, all part of a military career she relished.
“I consider the Navy a grand global experience that introduces you to so many new people and cultures,” she says. “I loved my time in the Navy, and given the chance, I would have gone back any time if I had been asked to so.”
When her Naval career ended, she started college at Old Dominion University. As a veteran turned student, she engaged in every aspect of traditional college life with gusto. She joined a sorority, multiple other organizations on campus and participated in numerous on-campus events.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in history while minoring in French, geography, and secondary education.
Beyond her professional life, Erin and her husband, Sherrod, are Hampton residents. They have two sons, Isaiah and Jayson, and three very spoiled cats.
Outside of work, Erin is often behind the lens of a camera; Fort Monroe and other local historical landmarks are among her favorite subjects. She’s also an avid reader, who tackles three or four books at once. Erin also can’t resist a rollercoaster or any adrenaline rush.
